Water

We have already shown that we aim to use either the latest ozone water purification system for drinking water and the swimming pool, or a combination of ozone and Bio technology. No harmful chemicals!

Recycling - all waste water is collected in a septic tank and filtered then pumped to a reservoir tank for use on the garden areas.

Electricity by Solar, Wind and Mains Power

We look to provide electric power by a combination of Solar and wind turbines, backed up by the mains supply.

Wind turbines can be included to harness the wind and solar power, to produce electrical power. Ark house is uniquely placed to take advantage of this silent system being high up in the hills above Yalikavak.

The house will have the benefit of electricity stored in 8 batteries, 6 of which will provide power for the whole property. The further 2 spare batteries will be on hand for those days when a lot of electricity is used. This system will provide enough power to run both air conditioning in the Summer and heating in the Winter.

Mains power is also available if required.

Heat - Energy Topics

We will use a special insulated brick to build the walls for added protection against damp. The blue foam ensures weather protection together with noise and temperature insulation.

We can install solar energy and silent wind turbines to conserve energy. Extensive use of light sensors illuminating only when necessary and turned off when space not in use.

All rooms have their own heating and cooling system with their own independent controls to conserve precious energy. The heating and cooling system is such that it would show its effects in any room within minutes of usage.

All electrical goods throughout the property are purchased and installed having the highest conservation rating available.

Triple glazed, self cleaning shatter proof windows will be installed throughout in the interests of power conservation and security. They will have built in motion detectors.

Stone Walls

In the interest of conservation, Ark Developments have stored the stone removed from the mountain to create the shelves on which the house, swimming pool, roads and terraces will stand.

This stone will be returned to the site to create the walls that will surround the property, retaining walls and pathways.
